I have a coast 1310 drive shaft on the front. I inspected it and it has no issues.

What is the likely hood that this is a chipped spider gear or chipped ring and pinion?

My 2010 started doing this when the drive shaft boot ripped and was clicking when the broken piece was turning and hitting.

shot in the dark here but is it possible that you have a bad U-joint at either wheel? The U-joint might be lodged into a position that prevents it from making noise during normal operation. Just a shot in the dark hope you find the gremlin soon though.
