Default RockKrawler3.5 max travel install question, relocate rear sway

Crawled up under the Jeep today looking at the rear away bar. The RK3.5 instructions say the rear sway bar should be moved back an inch. It seems that this will make the sway bar run into my muffler.

Has anyone run into this, and if so what did you do?

I have a 2011 JKUR no mods yet. While I don't plan to do this until next weekend just pre checklist I'm going through. Reading and measuring, planning.

Thanks!

It will hit the muffler. Why do they say to move it back? I can't see why unless you relocate the shock mounts or something?

A couple of their systems move the axle back 1" with longer control arms.

It seems like I keep finding stuff I need to do to have the lift installed properly by myself. Ill give RK a call Monday see what they suggest. I only posted here because of weekend research before installing.

Thanks for everyone's input. Ill keep the thread updated when I hear something.

In the SoCal section I listed all the extras that I needed, parts and tools. If anyone needs that ill repost it here.

Cheers
