Default Moving to 35s, please help me figure what I really need

2012 JKU Rubicon, currently stock with the exception of a teraflex leveling kit and wheel spacers.

I'd like to put on some Pintlers and Nitto TG 35s with a Teraflex 2.5" lift.

What else do I need? A tire carrier? ProCal? brake line extensions? brakes?

We tow the rig with an RV so I'm trying to keep the weight down. Ideally, I'd like to avoid a heavy rear bumper/carrier combo.

Any recomendations much appreciated.

You'll definitely want a procal to recalibrate your speedo. You won't need brake line extensions, you'll just have to drop them down. Some people get a drop bracket, some people just zip tie em.

And as for tire carrier....you can get away with running the stock one for a short period of time until you get one...but there's always the risk of sagging of your tail gate. You could always go for a lite rear combo. Say a teraflex tire carrier with Poison spyder's BfH rear. It's a low profile bumper. OR you can go bumper less in the rear like I'm doing. Keeps the weight down for sure.

Is it auto or manual? If its manual you don't have to get a procal, your speedo will just be off a little

I'm going to have to disagree with you. I went from 29's to 33's and my speedo was off by 10km/hr. that's enough for me to want to get a procal....

I have a 2012 jk with 3.21's. I went from stock 32's to 35's and my speedo reads 5mph low based on GPS. Not hard to remember.

Ya so I guess it's not absolutely needed...but personally I'd rather have my brand new jeep have the correct speedo. Personal preference for sure
