Need some advice on Lockers.
I'm having my JK re geared to 4.88 and since the Diff's will be cracked open I'm thinking of putting a Dana 44 Detriot locker in the rear and in the future a selectable for the front.
I wish I had more money to spend but I'm at $1700 parts and labor plus the fender flares I bought. I have enough for a non selectable locker. I want to put something in since it's already open and I'm pretty sure I want a selectable in the front. Any thoughts?

I would not put a full locker in the rear axle if you plan on using it a lot on the road. I think selectable for the front and rear would be better. Save your money if you can't do it now.
You have a $1700 budget? I just added a rear ARB. I was considering an Eaton E locker (selectable) and the estimates for it installed was around $1200 - $1500.
My recent locker thread: https://www.jk-forum.com/forums/modi...ectric-261401/
If budget is a concern, Electric will be less expensive; but mostly because air requires a compressor install which ends up being a good reason to put in OBA. The price of the lockers installed is very close. The ARB just ends up being more because of the compressor.
It's a 2011 JK,
I went with 4.88's and decided to put the Detriot Tru Track in the front. $360 on sale and since my diff will be apart already labor was nill.
4-2 pro-comp lift with 34" nito grapplers, Black V-tec wheels, quick disconnects,Afe Mach 2.5 High truck exhaust,Rugged Ridge rock Rails.Cold Air intake, Smitty Built Fender Flairs.
Now I need Bumpers and Lighting.

I just had my Detriot truetrac installed in my front d30 after regearing to 4.88.
My Jeep now pulls hard right after the install. Called the shop who did the install (major chain 4x4 shop) and told them whats up and the Tech said to get a gas steering stabilizer to counter the right pull.
What an idiot! Now I'm worried if this guy installed my LSD I'm screwed. It's now making metal on metal grinding faintly. I can feel the right side passenger pulling. Air pressure, tires, alignment all good.
After install pulling. Think he might of damaged a bearing during install? I had them use the old bearings since my Jeep only has 20,000 miles bearings should still be good. Braking tracks straight, deceleration under 30 mph tracks staight.
What the hell did they do to my baby?
The gearing on the other hand is great. Back to getting 20-17mpg on hwy and running 2600rpm at 70mph running 34's . Happy with that.
Just not the B.S. responce to buy something to counter the pull. It's going back first thing monday morning to be fixed. Pulling and making noise I'm positive are not normal.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated since I'm a structural Rigger not a mechanic. I know my way around a Vehicle it's just not my Profession. Again thank you in advance for any advice.

Should have been replaced if that was the case. They noted the pull when test driving it but still signed off the work. Was told to get a stronger steering stabilizer to compensate for the pull. "WTF" really?
That has me worried more than anything after hearing that. I would think addressing the cause of the pull not compensating for it would be the proper coarse of action but what the hell do I know.
