Default Wheel Backspace and Offset

Looking at getting new tires and wheels for my 2013 JKU. I'm looking at the Nitto Trail Grapplers (35X12.50X18 or 20) and the Fuel Krank or Hostage wheels. From what I've read they are 5X5 and backspacing should be 4.5, but not sure about the offset? Any input is greatly appreciated, Thanks.

From what I gather backspacing and offset are just 2 different ways to measure. Backspacing measures from the inside edge of the rim to where the rim contacts the axle. Offset measure from the center of the wheel to where the rim contacts the axle. 4.5 backspacing is what your looking for.

The AEV wheels I had on my 07 Jk had a backspace of 5 and 3/16ths I really liked the way they sat under the fender. I too am looking for some wheels for my 2013 but cant afford the AEVs this time. From what I've learned -12 offset = 4.5 backspace, -6 offset = 4.75 backspace and -0= 5.0 backspace. That's what discount tire told me anyway. Can any one confirm this? And is anyone running wheels with 5" backspace?
