Default So I want 35s and I have 3.21 Gears.

I have a 2010 Sport Unlimited and I have 32's on now.

CAI and a performance exhaust.

I do not do huge offroading. Mainly trails and some light play on the rocks. Its a daily driver for another 2 years.

How bad is this setup going to suck?

Thanks

Auto or stick?

If you have the auto, you will hate it.

Stick is do-able but you will lose some umph for sure. Do you live in a hilly or mountainous area?

I have em but I have the 3.6. It's not THAT bad. You won't use 6th unless you're downhill on highway. 5th and 65 yields about 2100 Rpms which is fine. Expect to lose 4-6 mpg. For perspective my neighbor has a 2010 with 37" pit bull rockers and wheels the hell outa it and dd. I drive 60 miles a day. 35's and 3.21 aren't ideal but you'll live. Learn to cruise above 1700 rpm. It's a high revving engine anyway

2dr Manual with 35" Goodyear MT-R's at 6300 ft elevation, still on 3.21 gears. I have effectively lost 5th and 6th gear, have been running around like that for a couple of years now. The worst part is crawling down obstacles requires significant braking, otherwise it is doable. Not recommended, but doable. I will still lose some speed on inclines, and if I head up into the mountains it is downshift city. If you are at sea-level it's not too terrible.

Someday I will get around to building the rubi axles sitting in my garage, but there always seems to be another priority

i had 3.21's with 33's on my 2010 6spd. 6th gear became useless to me.

i would regear it if its in your budget.

I have 3.21's and 35's on my 2013 with a 6 speed, I figured it would be liveable, however after a bit of wheeling and with living in a hilly area, I am going to be ordering 4.88's for mine. I can't use 6th gear even doing 80mph down the interstate, I can barely even use 5th
