Question Best Offroad/All Terrain Tire suggestions?

I'm new to the forum, and in less than a month I'm putting a 3 1'4" lift and 35" tires on my Sahara Unlimited. The problem is, I'm not positive on which tires to get. Right now I'm pretty set on pro comp xtreme AT's, but I would greatly appreciate any and every suggestion for tires. I need a tire with a pretty aggressive look to them that also perform well on and off the road. Thanks!

As I read the title of the thread, I was going to mention the ProComp Xtreme A/T tire and you said you were looking at it as well. When I ran AT's, I had them in a 305/65 (33'') and I loved them so much. Great aggresive look, balanced great, tread wore very well with proper rotation and tire pressure, etc. You will not be let down if you choose them.

I run Toyo Open Country A/Ts. Had my first set with 30,000 miles with plenty life left. Loved them so much, got a second set.

Welcome to the forum. A 31'4" lift will look silly with 35" tires, hell it'll dwarf "Bigfoot"! Haha, I'm assuming you meant a 3.5" lift. Going anywhere above three inches you'll be on the boarder of needing new driveshafts ($$$$), exhaust spacers, and possibly new gears with true 35" tires. TeraFlex has some great YouTube videos explaining the differences in the size of lifts. Also what gears do you have? Depending on your local terrain you'd want a minimum of 4.10, although 4.56 would be recommended for more performance with 35" tires. You might get away with 3.73 if you find a "smooth" A/T and live in the flatlands.
As for A/T's go you'll find all kinds of opinions on here, is your off roading more sand based, mud, or just logging roads? These are factors also to consider. Goodyear Duratrac's are wildly popular but so are Falken Wildpeaks, the new Toyo Extreme A/T's, or even the old BF Goodrich A/T's. Weight and sidewall ratings (C,D,E) are good selling points as well.
I was in the same boat as you with my 12' JKUS and just picked up 33" Toyo OC M/T's. Although not an A/T tire it's not a true mud tire either. It's a perfect all around tire in my opinion like the Nitto Trail Grappler but with additional siping. They've been know to last up to 65k so make your choice wisely.
Good Luck!

I have 3.73 gearing, which should bog the acceleration down some but should be just fine for where I live. I really don't offroad too excessively, just for some light fun, so I don't need a real powerful gear setup. Thanks for all the awesome info!
