Default Hi

So I just bought a new 13 Sahara unlimited. Are these capable or will I forever be beating myself for not getting a rubicon. I'm not into rock crawling or anything just curious as to what the middle man of the pack has to offer? Trails snow etc...

Thx

Jeeps are Jeeps they are all capable, some just a little more than others. I'm sure you'll love your Jeep as soon as you get it out in the wilderness.

Just drive it for awhile. Start easy and work your way into more challenge as you get to know it. Drive slow offroad. Join some other Jeepers or a club if you can.

Eventually you will get it stuck (not drown it please) and you will learn about the vehicle.

Besides maybe some better traction tires down the road (and make sure to have tow hooks), it is plenty capable for now.

I would not worry about lockers, lifts, all that stuff right away.

I wheel a lot and I love my Sahara. Sure a locker up front would be nice.. But Isn't a huge must have for the trails in my area. Just pick your lines carefully :-)

I agree with the other posters...go wheeling a few times and decide based on your comfort level, gained experiences and budget what to upgrade over time. I've got an 09 Sahara that since new I've slowly upgraded and have had a blast with.
