Default How many ppl are Running TPMS with aftermarket Tires?

My 35's are coming in a week or two and I'm trying to decide weather to run TPMS or just turn it off. For 2013 AEV Pro Cal has changed the TPMS options so you can no longer put in a certain PSI you have to pick from a list of options. So what I might do is just keep the 225's in my shed for long trips and put my 35's on with no TPMS sensors and just turn the dam thing off.

So who is running TPMS with aftermarket wheels and tires? And who is not running TPMS with after market stuff?

I'm not running the TPMS with my after market wheels, don't think it's worth the hassle to take them off the old tires or spend money to buy new ones so I just bought the AEV ProCal (150$) so I can get the light off the dash and dial in my new tire size to correct my speedo.

I'm not running mine either, haven't since day one of owning the Jeep. Using Superchips to reprogram the system.

Added OEM TPMS takeoffs to AEV wheels and Goodyear DuraTracs 315/70/17...AEV Procal is used to change settings whenever pressure needs to change for extended time

How much did it cost to get the TPMS installed on the new rims?

So I just used a super chips on my jeep, but I couldn't see how to turn off the TPMS. I can set it down to the 20's for pressure but didn't see an option to disable it!

These lights and dings are driving me crazy!

I've got mine in. When I had my tires/wheels changed out, the tire tech changed it for me at no cost. That's the good thing about having a buddy who is the tire manager at a Firestone!! I get the hook up on pretty much everything.

I swapped mine over on my 2013 when I got new tires and wheels. The shop that I bought the wheels from did free of charge.

Just use the ProCal to set your tpms to 0 and you won't wont have to worry about changing it again..no need for tpms

2011 with mb72s and 35 mtrs and no tpms. Turned my light off with the procal unit. I don't see the need for tpms if you monitor your tire pressure regularly.
