So I am making my list of stuff I need/want.
After much video watching and thinking I have decided on this:

3" Teraflex Lift Kit
35" Tires

I believe this will be good for me if I want to be a weekend warrior and daily grocery getter.

Now.. I have a few questions..
My JK has a 3.21 Gear Ratio it is also Autotragic.

I have read to be safe I should change over to 5.13 gear ratio.

I am a bit confused with this. I found the product I think I need on Quadratec's webpage : Superior Axle and Gear D30488RJK - Superior Axle & Gear Ring and Pinion for 07-12 Jeep® Wrangler & Wrangler Unlimited JK with Dana 30 Front Axle - Quadratec
I am not sure where this goes... In the rear diff? Transfer Case?
I was expecting kind of a 2 gear package.. Does this only work in 4WD and not in 2WD?

Now if I go with this setup and I get this gear ratio thing figured out.
Is there anything else I need on top of the gear's & lift to get my JK to run the 35's?

Are my stock Axles going to be an issue?

My final question is about the 3" Teraflex lift kit...
Which one should I get? I would like to keep my same wheelbase.

I hope all this makes sense.. Some of it is quite new to me.. I have been reading the crap out of the forums but I am still a bit confused.

For the gears you have to buy a set for the front and a set for the rear. You also should buy the kits that have all the gaskets needed. Gears and overhaul kits for front and rear will run around $700 then the install. A 2.5" lift will work for 35" tires.

X2. You may consider going with 4.88's since you are running a D30, which will be plenty for 35's. You will also need a tuner or procal to calibrate your tire size which will correct your shift points, and I recommend installing gussets on the D30.

The 35" spare tire. Will it fit on the back door?

My final question do I need to use any kind of spacer/adapter on the wheel/hub for the 35's?

 

That looks like a great start. The only reason you would need wheel spacers is if you plan on using the factory wheels. As far as the spare, I would recommend looking at the Teraflex HD hinge setup. You can use a 35" tire on the factory carrier with a spacer, but honestly it won't hold up and you are asking for trouble.

 

As you are looking to go the correct way with your jeep, that list looks quite good. Those are all quality parts.

Regarding your spare tire, you will either want a new rear bumper with tire carrier, TeraFlex's HD tire carrier, or some other tire carrier the weight of the 35" spare will eventually make the tailgate warp and rattle. There is actually a bumper/ tire carrier combo with good reviews that a lot of people have bought from ebay. Check out the thread "I did the Unthinkable". Read through it and decide if you may want to go that route.

 

That was the other question I forgot to ask.
I was going to keep my stock 16" wheels the JK came with.

Doing this I am going to want to go with a 35x10-16 wheel correct?

What size spacer with this?
