Default Genright Coilover Mounts With King Coilovers 14"

Is anyone currently running this set up?

Gen-Right Preimum Front Shock Hoop Kit

GenRight Rear Shock Mount Kit

If so i am wondering if you needed anything else like limiting straps or if you ran into any issues? Whats the lowest lift you might have?

i know i would still need to get extended brake lines as well as the sway bar links.

I appreciate all help.

Thanks,

Maertz

Honestly give them a call and talk through what you're thinking. They have a JK specific application that goes through the tub. When you outboard coilovers you need a wider axle. They show a minimum of 5" between frame and wheel bulge with this particular mount.

And post up what they say, because I'm interested.

I will have to wait until Monday but i am thinking i might have the clearance im running 2.75 backspacing.

Im mainly curious to see how tall the mounting towers are compared to evos. If they can be mounted like an inch or 2 higher and i can fit a 14 coilover at about 4 to 5 inch lift that'd be great. I need to know if id need limiting straps or what else to worry about if i could fit themm

I have seen GenRights JK with the coil overs and towers and it did have limiting straps. Hope that helps. Call the shop and ask for Dave. He will answer any questions you have. Keep us posted if you do it.

See id like to run 14" around 4 to 5 but dont wanna mess with limiting straps. Theres gotta be a way to run 14s without a strap n not spend an assload. But ill have to wait and see.

You spend a couple of thousand on coilovers, and don't want to <$100 for limiting straps to protect your investment?
