can someone PLEASE help solve my deathwoble
Im seriously ready to run my jeep off a bridge...I have death wobble, and I need it fixed. So far ibe replaced my whole drag link, my whole tie rod, my track bar with larger grade 8 bolts, all that there is left is ball joints, steering stabilizer ( wich will be last since that cannot cause death wobble) and something yo do with the steering box, does anyone know how to test the steering box bye the way.
Negative on the SS.
I have funky steering/shaking myself.
-tie rod ends
-ball joints
- Synergy high steer
- TF track bar
- 9/16 bolt kit
-TF LCA's w/ new bushings
- tires balanced/rotated a few times.
- FOX HD STEERING STABILIZER.
I know how frustrating it can be. Wondering if the steering box could be the issue as well.
I will be watching the thread. Good luck

start the jeep in park. Lay under the front bump and have someone move the steering wheel. Watch the steering box. If there is any play, that is bad. if the shaft is moving, you need a new steering box. If the whole box is moving maybe you can just get a steering box brace.
Jack the keep up and try twisting the tire top to bottom and side to side. If you have any play, your unit bearings are bad, replace them
I dont know how to check ball joints, but out some new ones in.
Lastly, I have read the stock drag link and tie rod may be too think and flexable for big tires... Some have seen improvements by swapping in bigger, thicker, and stiffer bars...

Before you get too deep into this, try rotating your tires front to back. I ran into a wobble problem that wouldn't go away, even after balancing the tires three times and thoughtfully inspecting all the front end parts. Turned out I had a tire delaminating. Rotated the tires and the problem went away (well, the wobble did).
