Default 2012 tuners

Possibly trading in my 2010 rubi for a 2012. What tuners are out there at the moment for the 3.6? I currently have a superchips flashpaq and I understand it won't support the engine but can it still work for tire size calibration and TPMS disable? The only programmer I've found is the pro-cal and that only does tires and a few other things but from what I've been reading it doesn't disable TPMS, only recalibrate for lower PSIs. Not crazy about running with sensors on the trail.

It is my understanding that there is not a programer out yet, only calibrators. Apparently no one has been able to crack the 3.6 computer codes and Chrysler will not release them. I have read that Chrysler will release these around 2014, who knows if that's correct.

By the way, why are you going for a 2012 and not a new 2013? A new 2013 is probably about the same price as a used 2012. I hear the early 2012's has head issues.

just read another thread and apparently diablosport has a tuner.. however it seems like it needs a few bugs worked out. my main concern is TPMS and tire recalibration for the moment as i drove the 2012 and it has a heck of a lot more balls on the road than my 3.8. its also a 2dr vs my current one being a 4dr so that helps. the reason I'm looking at a 2012 (new) is because the dealer is letting it go for the same price as a reg 2dr rubicon but it happens to be a COD MW3 (auto) fully loaded. so its a steal of a deal. i just need to justify the higher payments and loss of space.
as for the head issues, its covered by the powertrain warranty and I'm well taken care of at the dealership so I'm not really worried. Fab date is 2/12 so not sure if it falls into that category or not. But again, not really worried about that.

Oh. That make sense. Sounds like a good deal. Those jeeps are very cool. You will love the 3.6.

Sounds like a Great deal if you want an auto. I went to the dealer to buy a 2011 I test drove it. Then the sales person pitched the redone 2013 so I drove it I have to say it was like night and day the power of the engine sold me plus the new interior was just a nice bonus.

Apparently I am not up on the tuner news. Let us know how you like it once you do the install.

I've got the Diablo intune for my 2012 but haven't been able to install it yet due to the bugs they are working out. Honestly I'd recommend waiting a few more months to ensure everything gets worked out. Diablo has been very recpetive and helpful but its been a PITA waiting to get eveything worked out so that I can actually use this tuner.
