Default Rock Krawler 2.5" stock mod

I have a 2009 JKU and want to run 35" Nitto Trail Grapplers on XD Addict wheels. I do 90% on road and the trails i do go on are mostly dirt roads with some creek crossings. I'd like to be able to do more but wont be into major rock crawling or mud. Does the RK 2.5" stock mod come with everything I need or will I have to buy other parts also?

With the stock mod you will be able to fit the 35's under there, however the on road handling characteristics might not be the greatest. We typically recommend the 2.5" Flex at a minimum because it comes with the front high clearance adjustable lower control arms. This will allow you to correct your caster settings after the lift. You want to make sure you have the correct caster or else you might notice "flighty" steering.

If the budget does not allow to step up to the flex you could try out the Stock Mod and see if you have any complaints.

Let us know how we can help you with your build.

Do I need new shocks with this system or bumpstops?

Yes you will need new shocks. We would very highly recommend bump stops especially if you are going to run 35's.
