Question Teraflex Perf Leveling Kit but want more, advice needed!

First post so go easy haha

I am in need of some advice/thoughts on adding a 1" Spacer lift to my already 1.5" Teraflex Performance Lift(Springs). My Main question is will I need anything else such as new shocks, adj. trackbars, new sway bar links etc. if I dont want to break anything/veer off the road. Also I will be looking at getting new tires either 33x12.5's or if I can 35x12.5's, I want 35's but not sure if I can with this and dont want to break stuff afterall since not having a "True" 2-2.5" lift. Everything is stock aside from 1.5" spidertrax spacers and the level kit. Here is a pic after the leveling kit was installed(no spacers tho), oh btw its a 2011 JK Unlim Sport

I run this exact setup and it's like 3" of lift in the front, which I needed for my winch and heavy bumper, plus it eliminates nose diving on braking.

Nothing else was required beyond the longer sway bar links. I'm still running my Rubi factory shocks and control arms. The ride is really great and handling is better than stock.

Welcome to The forum. If you go to 2.5 lift you will need to get the teraflex break line Lowering brackets for the front and what was said before about the longer links to for the front.

On stock shocks the brake lines won't stretch because the axle will have the same amount of droop as a stock set up.

Have you thought about selling your current lift and going with a complete 2.5" lift?

Check out the teraflex 2.5" kit on-line and go with everything it provides for the front- specifically shock adapter if keep the stock shocks and extended bump stop-especially if going with 35" tires and factory fenders. In the kit- it only comes with rear sway bar links as you use the factory rear links for the front and they are considerably longer than the stock front ones. I second the advice on selling the leveling kit and going with a comlete lift kit as you will likely want to do something with the rear and then things really get peice milled.

I have a 2013 JKU and my kit didn't come with brake line extension brakets for the front-only the rear, but it won't hurt to use them if it's a concern.

Hmmm so in the end I should just man up and get a full kit huh, haha I figured as much. I was just wondering if there was a cheaper alternative is all. I was looking at 2.5 kits awhile back to see whats the best for the money, and I found that I get more from this kit AEV JK DUALSPORT XT SUSPENSION 2.5" then the Teraflex 2.5, or I could get the teraflex with adapters then just get new bilsteins later, not sure on how good the teraflex shocks are as Im looking for a softer ride over all.

That's not a bad idea with what Ryan said. Get your 2.5" then sell your leveling kit. I guarantee another member would buy it.
