Do I need to extend my breather hoses with the rk 2.5 flex lift? Is So can I cut the exsisting breather hose and put extra length in with a hose barb or is there a better method? Thanks in advance.

Not necessary for a suspension lift but a good idea anyhow.

River Raider has a kit that has all the parts and pieces although it is pretty easy to do yourself.

Thanks guys. I will splice in some hose and hose clamp it in. You say 3 inches is the amount you added? Did you do front rear and diff?

You could add 2ft to the rear and easily run it up through an existing opening to the height of the rear tail light.

Up front you can add a few feet also and get it back and up on the firewall.

For now we extended our breathers because they kept pulling off of the axle.

The ultimate thing to completely redo your breather set up and route it into the air box. This would be the best way to go especially if you have a snorkel.

I added a R/E 3.5 mid arm kit in nov. went off roading durning a thaw in dec and notice my breather tube just hangin, so I took the front cover off to see how bad the damage was, since I knew it was in DEEP water! Omfg! So glad I drained the front diff. It came out like a triple thick milkshake! I have since extended my breathers!

If you play in water or mud, extend your breathers. Do it regardless of your lift. It is a $10 project that can save you thousands.
