I've been reading that Jeep may actually listen and offer a diesel for the 15 jeep wrangler. It seems there will be an option on the grand Cherokee for 2014. Anyone else heard about this? I've been heavily looking into a hemi swap but if the diesel is a better option I may just wait till then and trade up. Guess my question is anyone actually running a diesel in the JK?

Diesel Jeeps YJ / TJ / JK / XJ etc.... Have been around for a very long time in Europe .

The thing about the next diesel in the 2015 Wrangler is WHICH diesel engine will they drop in ?

If they decide on the 2.8 CRD VM Motori .... then thanks but no thanks .
It's the same engine used here in the J8 ... Noisy & underpowered .
