Default Need 1 more inch out of RK 3.5 mid lift

I recently put on a Rock Krawler 3 1/2 in mid arm lift with 3 inch bump stops front and rear and am very happy with it. I was original planning on some flat fenders to go with my 35s but my JKU came with painted fenders that I have grown to like. I have thought about two options. First is to with one inch coil spacers front and rear. The second is try some AEV 4 1/2 inch springs.

I would rather do a spring spacer over a body lift. I already have adjustable control arms, extended brake lines and shocks that can easily go another inch, does anyone have a good measurement for how high the aev 4.5 lift actually lifts a 4 door?

You could also cut the painted stockers.

You only need 2.5" front and rear extended bumpstops to run 35s with stock flares.

With 3" extended bumpstops, you have more than enough to run 35s.

Coil spacers would be the cheapest. Body lift is much more work.

Turn your painted fenders into flat fenders. That is what I did. I have a Rough Country 3.5" Series II lift with EVO 4" plush ride spring and a 1" Teraflex coil spacer up front. These are 35's

This is what I would do. You have more than enough lift.

Your rig looks great! This post just convinced to chop my painted flares....as soon as it warms up and stops snowing!

Why do you need to run a flat fender or increase you lift height for 35" tires? I had the 3.5" RK Max Travel with 3" bumpstops and it had plenty of room to clear a 35" tire. I only went to flat fenders when I changed to a 37" tire.
