I have a nice chrome plated 3 LB extingusher I need to bolt down, I have the rear seat out, any suggestions? The velcro roll bar models won't work, I'm hoping someone has thought this iout s for me, I think I'll take a nap!!

 

Hi! I mounted mine on top of the console lid. Yes...it is a pain until you get use to it. I elected to keep it there as it is immediately under my right hand and I can remove it for use without ever needing to turn or move from the drivers seat. You can velcro it in place and give it a fair trial run then remove it if you can't stand it's location. It took me about a week to get accustomed to it but now it's just part of my JEEP. Depending on the diameter you might be able to mount it along the seat rail on the drivers seat. I had my 2.5 lb one there, but the cheap plastic mount broke.
