Default Question on Smitty over/under dual battery tray space consumption

Since I have the Sprintex SC, the area for a dual battery setup is limited. Side by side configurations just will not work. I think I have one option I could do using the Smitty optima only set up. Is there anyone out there running this that can confirm it adds height and not width to your battery footprint?

The supercharger looks nice. They had to make space for that too I would guess. So space is at a premium in your JK.

You might be able to run a rugged ridge snorkel and that smittybilt tray. But throwing that SC in the mix I'm not sure.

I think optima makes a yellow or blue top that is rated for 900cca and .75Ah for our Jeeps. I'm thinking of just running one heavy duty battery instead of 2.

Keep us updated on what you do and how it works out.

Someone pointed me at a Nemisis solution that looks pretty doable, but the price tag is a bit more. I'm running the RR snorkel now, and it runs down under this area. Maybe I can talk both these vendors at EJS in a few weeks. No need for a change before that. Jumper cables and a good buddy will be my 2nd battery for now. I'm thinking of this application more for deep woods camping/exploring.

I'm also thinking about making some space in my nonexistent cargo area for an self jump battery you see at autozone. But the buddy idea is better never go wheeling alone.
