Default MBRP off road exhaust question

Several weeks ago I purchased the mbrp offload exhaust system. At first I loved it but now..... Damn it is loud! Am afraid ill get turned in. Decided I should find a less loud system. Anybody else have this system and is it tht loud? Sounds like a rice rocket but deeper sound. Thanks for any info.

We run this exhaust. When you open it up it does get a bit loud, but it's really personal preference at that point. Doesn't bother us one bit.

I had this on my 2011. I liked the tucked up fit. The sound at idle was super - great rumble. But the drone at speed made me crazy, and it was ricey. I had to get rid of it.

It's preference for sure. I love this exhaust. I've gone through four others including the dynomax rock crawler exhaust. Didn't like any of the others. Dynomax has too much drone. I don't feel this one doesnt have drone at all. Also, I don't think it sounds ricey. Only problem is you don't have the safe and sound guarantee so there is no returning it and getting your money back. That's the one good thing about dynomax. This exhaust is a little loud but I don't mind it.

I have it on Dozercon and love the sound of it but am really really happy to just get rid of that ugly garbage can stock muffler.

It's all about perspective. I ripped my stock muffler off on a wheeling trip last summer. Had to drive the Jeep home 400 miles with open exhaust. That was loud! The next week I installed the MBRP kit and it was whisper quiet.

All in all, the sound is ok. I think it's a little loud when fired up in the garage. But driving down the road it seams ok.

^^^^ This is my issue with my Dynomax RC exhaust. I can live with the drone but I'm having trouble living with the wife who I wake up every time I start my Jeep in the garage. I am looking for a quieter option without going back to stock.
