I have some fitment issues with my AEV bumper and my Engo winch. Does anybody know if I can mount the solenoid vertically between the grille and lights. If its directly behind my 8" Hella, I don't think it will lessen air flow that much more but are there others concerns?

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Verticle is not an issue, many do verticle mounts

However, given how tight that space looks, decide if plugging in the controler will be dificult. Remember that many winching needs occure in places that add challenges. Deep mud hols or large bulders can impact your ability to work in tight places while worried about footing.

 

Thanks for your input. I think the plug will be easy to get to since it will be right between the lights.
