I just got 4.88 installed.

I used Accupro on it and now I have a check engine light and no speedometer, like stuck at 0.

HELP please.

Edit - it was working when I left the place. Sorry for the confusion.

check that they reconnected your speed sensors...or maybe broke them in the process.

there are 2 on each axle, 1 near each wheel.

I checked them, we are all good here. I was wondering if my programmer did it?

Use the programmer to reset and then see if the speedo comes back.

I have told the computer that I have 4.88. It says it works, "successful" and then I disconnect it and try to drive it and boom. Still No speedo and a check engine light comes on.

I have done it 3 times now. I am going to try again this morning.

Have you thought to check for a code?

This. My guess is a broken sensor.

P0012 doesn't appear in the 2008 service manual.
It refers to a camshaft mis-timing in bank 1. The 3.8L engine has only one cam.

Strange code have been known to show; codes the are not applicable to the vehicle.

Thanks for the help, I'm gonna call hypertech on Monday and see if the Accupro is bad.

After doing research it seems like others have had this issue with them.
