Default summer top or soft top all summer

Does anyone/has anyone ran the quadratic (or alike) Bimini Tono and Windjammer all summer vs a softtop...i have a soft top and hardtop - in NJ its getting to that time for me to make the switch...i was just wondering if anyone has run the "summer" setup i mentioned - how bad was it with regards to rain?

I am getting the Bimini top regard and tono regardless - my wife is prego and even with the top off she is going to need to be in the shade this summer.....was considering running that bimini set-up all summer - thoughts?

I run the DirtyDog4x4 sunscreens and the soft top all summer
When in any traffic the soft top comes up and the air conditioning goes on.

I am thinking about the SFZ doors but need to have the uppers as well for the ability to use air conditioning

The rain is a second consideration to be able to close it up.

I went with DD sunscreen as my wife did not like the idea of the gaps.

Not to thread hijack, but I had a quick question about the soft tops.
This is my first Jeep and I read somewhere about someone telling someone else to think twice about getting a soft top.

Does the soft top create a bunch of noise while driving?

I've had a lot of different Jeeps over the years, from CJ-5s, 7s, YJ & TJ, all the way up to my present '08 JKU, all with soft tops. Yes, they are noisier on the highway, but they are vastly better than the old ones that flapped and leaked constantly. And, your '13 would likely be better than my '08 because I know they've improved it. Even though I have a hard top, I run the soft top. Then again, I live in Texas where it doesn't get that cold. It's a Jeep. It's best to run it without any top at all. The quicker you can get it down, the better. That's not possible with a hard top.

I run the soft top all year and use the bikini/duster combo whenever it's nice. It can get cold, and it can sure get hot in the summer (90 days over 100 a couple of years ago). That's when the top goes up and I run the heater or A/C in traffic. I thought the Freedom top was the answer. It wasn't. I went back to the soft top, noise and all. I'm thinking about the Dirty Dog mesh. Looks like a good fit to block a bit of the sun while still keeping that open air feeling.

Running it right now. I use the soft top during the winter, and when it warms up for spring I toss bikini, windjammer, and deck cover on. When our wonderful West Texas summer rolls around I pull it off and drop on my mesh top.

This is my plan as well. I run the soft top all year normally but this season when and if it ever warms up I will be running a bikini top and duster cover. I purchased both from folks on the forum. In years past I ran my factory soft top minus the windows (safari style) but was getting tired of raising and lowering the whole thing. (Not very dry up here in the spring/summer) I figured it'll be a lot easier to take off the bikini and put it back on when neccessary.

Hmm, if you get a decent amount of moisture, I would suggest getting the wrap around windjammer.
