Default Thinking about a body lift .. already have suspension lift

I currently have a 2010 2dr Islander with a BDS 4.5" short arm kit. Lately I've been thinking about going higher but I don't want to mess with the suspension lift. I have a couple of questions that I cant seem to find the right answer to from searching through the forum. I'm hoping not to get any kind of negative input. Just wondering in what direction I can go in if any. I wouldn't want to go higher that 2" on a body lift, and I definitely don't want to have to get aftermarket driveshafts. So to sum it up.. Since I already have a 4.5" lift is it possible or will i run into any problems doing a 1-2" body lift???

Any pictures would help too

I had one on my 07 and now on my '10. Pretty simple install. I used the Rough Country 1.25" and highly recommend.

Is the body lift just to get higher? It won't affect any clearance as the suspension will remain the same.
Have you considered getting flat fenders to add larger tires? you won't have to deal with any of the issues that come with either a body lift or larger suspension lift.

I just put a 2" body lift on my jeep, along with my already installed 3.5" suspension.

When you say you don't want to get aftermarket driveshafts... I could be wrong, but pretty sure you should already need some with your 4.5" lift.

I don't have any pictures right now but I will try to find some. If I were to do it again, I wouldn't of done a 2" body. I think 1.25 would be my max. It looks pretty strange with such a large gap all around.

I honestly don't see how your factory driveshafts are holding up to your current lift. What size tires are you trying to run? Have you thought about cutting your fenders, or going with flats?

Had the lift for two 1/2 years now with no problems and I just want more height I'm not dealing with rubbing or anything, and I like my factory fenders. Just want to go a little more higher without changing my suspension lift.

I recommend the Rough Country 1.25" also, super easy to install and comes with brackets to raise the rear bumper to match the body.

I've got a 4" suspension lift and 1.5" body lift on 35s. no problems at all and was in the same situation as ui. body lift was easy and got me to the height I wanted

dunno that I would do 2" if u got aftermarket bumpers, it hid well with the stock bumpers and relocator bracket but can't run the relocator bracket with aftermarket. There's a small gap no one but myself would prob notice at 1.5" BL and aftermarket bumpers

I agree on not doing a 2inch body lift. 1 or 1.25 max. I have a 2.5 suspension, ( hopefully 3.5 soon) 1 inch body lift, cut fenders, cut pinch seam to run my 37s. The gap is not bad with 1 inch but 2 inches is just too much. If your lift hasn't messed up your drive shafts the body lift will not alter your suspension. Do you disconnect your sway bar often or not at all?
