Default upgrading one axle?

How's it going first time posting; I have a '12 jk Rubicon I am in the process within the month putting 4" lift , tube renders , and 37s. I called a local shop for info on upgrading axles & gears but he suggested only upgrading one axle? ( rear)

Obviously both axles would need new gears... Are you saying that the shop only sugested upgradding the rear to a Dana 60?

The front will probably break first. You'd want to do both front and rear chromos

Most guys I wheel with that have 37's tend to wreck front shafts more often than rears. Those with bigger than 37's tend to break both. So... I would suggest doing both. Then carry your stock ones as trail spares. Always nice to have spare parts.

Yup, gotta know more to make a recommendation. 37s are going to be tough on both those axles when wheeled, but the front is the weaker of the two...
