Default 08 jk front end

I have replaced all the control arm bushings, replaced track bar, put in new proper size bolts, new upper ball joints new tie rod ends. Got rid of "death wobble" but now the axle feels as if it wants to wander all over the road after front end alignment.
What else can I do????

No wander before the alignment, wanders after they finish? Sounds like the caster was changed. What are the before/after specs on the sheet.

ditto - sounds like caster is too low...need to reset it to around 4 to 4.5 deg IMO. Adj control arms or, heaven forbid, cam bolts.

Don't know the before specs but the caster is at 4.2 on both sides now!

How much lift? If you can, try 5 degrees. Do you have a dropped pitman arm or do you have stock steering? High steer kit?

Hard to say for sure since you don't know the before specs, but my guess is the shop that installed the lift put your caster up around 5 or so, and the alignment shop put you back down to the 'stock' JK specs. (assuming you have cams ?? Crawl under and take at look at them. When installed, the shop may have painted a thin line across them, and if so, you should easily see if the caster has been altered)

I'd go back to stock pitman arm and go high steer. Mine drives quite well with 4degrees caster and the high steer at 4" of lift. No bump steer or flighty handling. The flighty steering most likely from what I've experienced and read will be resolved with the draglink flip.

Try a bit more caster first, 5 degrees, as it is a free "fix" if it works.

What kind of high steer are you running with a stock pitman arm? That's the road I am being pointed down!
