Default Lifting my Rubi with some color!

This is my 08 jkur "Minion", and this is how it all started.

I managed to acquire a 3.25 Rusty's basic lift in a trade. It had about 10K miles on it so I figured I'd clean and paint the coils and shocks before installing them.

I bought some crown stainless 5 layer brake lines in yellow, teraflex extended bump stops, or-fab HD crossmember, American racing ar23 15x8 wheels, and 35" Goodyear MTR's.
I should be adding 8 Rock Krawler control arms and axle c gussets in a month or so with some welding help from the guys at SmashBoogie.
I also plan on being cheap and reinforcing the stock tire carrier with the offcamber fabrications kit and some additional bracing similar to the setup smittybuilt sells. I'll post pics of that later though as I will have to fabricate some parts. I have a herd of children and work 60+ hours a week so I might not make as much progress as I would like.
Anyway, Friday looks like the last day mi Rubi will look like this.

Wish me luck!

Current setup 4/20/14
RK 3.5" triple rate coils
RK front upper and lower control arms (short)
RK rear 3 link (short)
RK rrd 2.0 10" shocks
G2 5.13 gears
Artec trusses front and rear including rear tb mount, coil perches, 3 link mount, and front tb bracket and gussets.
Adams drive shafts
Rough Country hybrid stubby front bumper with a light bar welded on
Engo 10k# winch with synthetic line
Goodyear MTR/k 35x12.5x15
American racing ar23 15x8 wheels
Synergy tie rod and drag link
Rk track bars
Radio Shack compact cb
A bunch of electric mods lol

Future plans:
Replacing upper and lower front shock mounts to fit longer travel shocks.
Relocating the gas tank to the rear using a tj gas tank.
Probably an RK front long arm 3 link, or custom fabricated one.
Rear double triangulated 4 link
Rework rear shock mounts for longer travel shocks

Thanks! I figured since the kit was used no worries about painting stuff. I can't wait till I can get a good flex to show the springs off. I'm trying to keep the black and yellow thing going without taking either too far and getting cartoony.

i know what you mean, there is a line somewhere. but i don't think you will have crossed it with the springs and shocks. my jeep is black, but i'm thinking when i get new coils i'll want some color. post some pics when you get em on!

I agree, I don't think this is too much. Brake lines, shocks, springs, and eventually diff covers. Part of me wants to paint the control arms when I get them, but I think that may be the line.
