Default Gettin RIPPed lol

I searched and I never found actual answers to my question whish is:

Will the trans hold up to the Ripp? Will it hold up to the RiPP pushing about 10-11psi? (I already know I would need head studs and other engine mods)

My Jeep
08 X 2dr auto
5.13 gears
30splin front D30 w/ RCV, ARB, sleeved and gusseted
35 spline Rear D44 w/ Chromoly shafts and ARB
37" tires

And I plan on adding a Rubicrawler to it also.

I can't give you a definitive answer on the tranny, but I would be concerned with your front pinion shaft. Especially if you wheel it hard.

Can't answer how long it will last but I have had zero problems with my transmission with 30k supercharged miles. 70k overall.

Are you going with the smaller pulley to get the 10-11? Normal pulley is 8-9

Heat is what kills transmissions. Make sure you put a cooler in.

Yeah I know heat kills the trans... My now Xwife proved that one. I already planned on the RIPP aux. cooler. But im asking is can the trans in general take the torque.. I understand its pretty much the power of a stock V8 but the trans I doubt was built to hold a V8. Are there clutch pack upgrades, valve body or torque converter upgrades I need to do? And I don't wheel to hard from what I've been told. The main focus on the supercharger is on road use goin through mountain passes and increasing overall efficiency of the engine. and I will proably stick with the regular pully and not the underdrive pulley.

Poking around the net showed several running the 4.6~4.7 stroker and the same tranny. No real data for you though.

We have done an extensive amount of tuning to make sure the torque management programming for the 4SRL is in sync with the additional power. We offer an altitude pulley for the gen2 system which runs 11psi peak... no head studs required.

This info is correct - a trans cooler and trans temp gauge would be a smart add...

ok Next Question..... Shorty headers from rugged ridge, or RIPP long tube FOR LONG ARM? is the extra $1,100 worth it? I'll be running the under drive pully w/ custom retune and the MBRP Cat Back, I already have a snorkel. And Both are going to get heat wraped.

Well Hell what about the Rusty's Exhaust kit with the Cherry bomb pro? Half the price of the MBRP and these mufflers are tanks and flow real good.... don't sound bad either
