Squeak from Rock Rails
I just put on a set of Rugged Ridge rock rails. The on the the passenger side squeaks when the body shifts. I found out that the problem is with the washer on the body rubbing on the rail when the body shifts. It doesn't always happen on bumps, I can jerk the wheel to shift the body and it happens. I tried to wrap the washer in electrical tape and it worked for about a day until it wore through that. Any other idea? I was thinking about wedging some type of cloth between the metal to metal contact? I need something that is going to last.
Another option might be to switch the body bolt and washer from the front with the one in the middle and see if they are made just a little different.

Same thing happened to me on the drivers side. What solved it for me was I loosened all the bolts and sprayed everything down good with white lithium grease. Tightened it back to torque specs and it lasts about a year.

Do you have a grinder? Might be easier and faster to cut it to fit rather than finding the right size for you.
