Default How to mount a 35" tire to a factory carrier without a 1000$ bumper or spacer

This is how I did it... After buying the 35"s I didnt have the cash to get a carrier and I didnt want to stress the stock carrier with a relocation spacer so this is what I did

I'm running a 35" tire on a stock rear bumper. I did not have to do all that cutting either. My RotoPaX mounting plate have me the quarter inch I needed to fit mine now it fits perfect with two black racket balls as bump stops.

Yea, be careful...I've seen tailgates that have bent/warped/drooped because of heavy tires on them. Okay for the short term but just a heads up for the long run
