Default Which coils to run with the Bilstein 5100's

Originally, I was planning to go with the Rough Country 2.5" coil lift and adding Bilstein 5100's, as I'm not sold on RC's shocks. After reading lots of threads, I'm now looking at other coils (Rock Krawler, Teraflex, OME, etc...) and adding the Bilstein's to those. Just as a point of reference: this will be going on my '09 JKU daily driver (roughly 10-20% off-road) so it won't be for heavy off-roading by any means. I have Toyo Open Country AT II's in 285/75/17 so nothing too big.

My question is: has anyone purchased 2.5" coils (any brand) and added the 5100's... and were you happy with them? I'm willing to pay more for quality, so I don't mind going with another coil set over the RC if that's a better option. Anyone have any experience with this type of build? Thanks for any insight!

So, did that run in the ~$850 range? Thank you for the reply!

I had the TF 2.5" lift with shock extensions. Wound up replacing the shock extensions with the 5100s. Road great.

You only mention springs, but what about the other things you need: brake line extensions, bump stops, rear track bar relcation bracket and sway bars?

Did the AEV progressive coils with 5100s. Loving life on and off the road. Didn't hurt that the kit includes a rear trackbar and bracket, bump stops, brake line brackets, and some other bits and pieces.

Freewill- Do you have any pics of your jeep with the aev? Also do you plan on going to tires larger than the 32's?

I think I've made up my mind... going to go with the AEV 2.5" DualSport XT

I think I'll also get the Trektop NX at the same time. I assume not many sponsors here carry AEV stuff? Recommendations on who to order from?

I had the ome hd coils with the ome nitro sport shocks, swapped them out for a longer travel 5100. The ride was decent but I preferred the nitro sport. Much better ride on and off road.
