Default Nates finish?

I looked at them a while ago, I think they are all shipped bare metal. You'll need to find a local painter, powder coater or bed liner installer.

Yep, they come bare metal. I finished mine with a undercoat of POR15 and a top coat of Krylon Industrial semi gloss. The POR 15 is basically bulletproof resin with an amazing appetite for rust. Its main weakness would be UV's. So a rattle can top coat allows you to touch up any problems quickly and easily.

Nate has also changed the recovery points to right over the frame ends. They held up well as I was winched over The Big Ugly and Stryke's Ravine in Moab last month.

I like having the option to add the front receiver and light tabs as well.

It looks even better now that I've added a Warn 9500ti to it.

I got within a hair of getting Nates front bumper but chose a different set-up at the end. Nate himself very friendly to talk to, and yes, it is shipped unpainted.

There's a thread with recommendations for paint : https://www.jk-forum.com/forums/modified-jk-tech-2/bumper-paint-18299/

Nate is building a custom stinger for me right now. It's taking some time because, well, it's custom and he's ran into some issues. His first plan on building it didn't quite work and and offered to give me my deposit back or continue with Plan B, so I told him to continue. I'm looking forward to it and I'll post some pics when it's completed. He does seem like a pretty good guy.

I talked to Nate a while back as I almost got this bumper also. You should check the front bumper comparison thread as you pretty much can see all bumpers except for the new one that Or-fab has on their production line for Mid Feb. I believe it's a stubby bumper.
