Default Tie Rod

So.. Bent my tie rod..

Replaced it with a Synergy Chrome Moly one.. (Looks awesome!).

What am I suppose to set the tie rod distance to?

I mean from ball joint to ball joint. Either outside to outside or nipple to nipple.

I have 2.5" spacers so I can't measure the stock middle of the tire to tire measurement.

Anyone one install a synergy tie rod and have it aligned by a shop that can measure it or knows the numbers?

I set mine at 60" from outside ball joint to outside ball joint.

Thanks in advance for your assistance.

I just did mine, but I don't have the numbers handy. I'll dig out the numbers tomorrow morning and post them.

Look real hard for a seam in the center of your tires. I did and found a small extra flap of rubber or seam on the tires all the way around. Measure seam to seam in the front then the back. The front should be 1/16th - 1/8th less than the back.

I ensure both front tires had the same pressure. The took two 48" levels and put then out side the tires with help. Measure the front and back. Got them both within a 1/4". Measurements are gonna be different on all rigs. It's easy to dial it in with that tierod.

Had my alignment done a few months ago and my synergy tie rod is 58.5" center to center using the grease zerks on the tie rod ends. Hope this helps.
