Default 285-70-17 Trail Grapplers too heavy

I have 2012 jk with 3.21 gears. I drive a lot! I have the 32" Kms on it now and get 19-20 mpg. Anybody have these gears with 285 70 17 trail grapplers that can tell me how much of a power and mpg loss it was. I know trail grapplers are heavy and if I have to I can go km2s but really like the nittos.

I just looked at a set and they were D load range so they should be fine and very durable.

A few months ago I had my 3.21's with 285/70/17 Falkens which are about 61lbs I believe. Definitely noticeable.

At first my mpgs went down because I was using more skinny pedal to try and compensate.

I would recommend d the duratracs.

Hopefully I can work closer so it won't matter.

Nobody running 285 70 17s with 3.21 gears? I just don't want to end up getting 14 mpg. Lol

I have them on a 2010 and love them. My mileage sucked from the beginning so I didn't mind losing the 1-2 MPG moving to these tires LOL. I think they ride better than the BFG's.

I have the 35'' Mud graps and I get 16-17 mpg on the freeway, it was worse before I programmed it.
