Default Jeep pulls to side after lift???

So like it says my Jeep has been pulling to the side either right or left when there is a slight dip in the road so on uneven roads it will pull from side to side I dont think its my alignment could it be I need a new steering stabilizer or that I need to upgrade my control arms my lift that I got was a teraflex 2.5 coil lift with bilstein shocks. So if anyone has any answers to my problem it will be greatly appreciated thanks!

I just got the Teraflex with their shocks and had the same issue. A $35 front end alignment fixed it right up. Droves better than new.

If you lifted it with stock arms you have less caster no matter what size lift. And it will wander. You can spend time chasing it but you'd be wise to drop $30 or so on an alignment rack to get a starting point. Especially if you're considering LCAs.

Save your money on alignment and check out Project-JK write up.

So do alignment and start saving for Long Control Arms?

Zactly. You can go by the write up which is good, but using the angle finder is a swag at best to get an actual caster degree reading compared to the rack and you won't be able to effectively take a camber reading of any sort. Toe is easy if you read and place the tape carefully.

So, for $30 put it on the rack and get real numbers. Likely you'll need adjustable LCAs (not long) since your caster will be less than required, you'll also see if your camber is within spec (commonly worn ball joints issues can also give you the wanders exacerbated by a lift) and you'll see right where your toe is.

BUT, if your ball joints are good, maybe just your toe is off and bringing that in could solve your issues without CAs.

If you take it in for an alignment, state very clearly that you do not want them to 'fix' anything yet, you just want the current numbers for now. You will likely leave with a shiny new set of cam bolts if you let them do their thing.
