Doug pulled me out. Wrapped a strap around the front hooks, and once the transfer case was off the ground enough for the tires to touch, 4Lo crawled right outta there! I need a lift and some tires for some clearance!! This noob is totally hooked though.

I did the same thing about 6 months ago. Wife and I spent 6 hours stuck. Gave me plenty of time to think about ways to get out.
Long story short. You can't winch yourself out if there's nothing to winch to. Thanks to the nice couple from Texas that pulled
me out. A big middle finger to the 'park rangers' who decided to leave me there rather than just calling me an idiot, but helping
me.

Wow! This looks like a must if u wheel alone. Have u used one or know anyone who has one? Does it work good?

 

Seems like that could be kind of dangerous if it were to slip or something but still a pretty good idea
