Mik Hayward's 2012 JKUR Build
So after months of researching, this week we finally start putting my jeep together. Early on I wanted a simple 2.5 inch lift, then I thought I needed more, then I thought I needed AEV, then teraflex, and eventually I sat still and researched everything that would suit my wants and needs adequately. Finally, everything has come together.
Phase 1 build specs are as follows:

37x12.50x17 Nitto Trail Grapplers
Black AEV Pintlers
EVO Gussets
Nitro Sleeves
Poison Spyder Brawler lite front bumper
Poison spyder narrow fender flares
Teraflex HD hinge & carrier

Are you going to install a double cardin u-joint drive shaft up front? Ive read that the boot will tear and also problems with the way the exhaust is run. Im thinking of purchasing a 2012 myself but seems like a lot of mods necessary even to get a 2.5" lift on vs the 2011 and earlier
Gonna look awesome!! Are you going to re-gear? I have 35 Nitto TGs on order, but wish I could do 37s. The shop says Id need to regear. I think i would be borderline with 2013 JKR 4.10s. Also, are spacers required with the 37s even with the pintler back space?

Going to be a super bad ass build . Question for you though. Why are you not replacing the rear bumper ? I had the Tera flex carrier your talking about and hated it . It cracked on me and I am only running 35s. As expensive as the Tera flex carrier is why not bag it and rock the poison spyder or something else? Just curious . Everything else seems top notch on your build list . Not trying to be a dick or anything just a question.
Going to see how it is with the 4.10s but a gear job is in the works for phase 2. Probably 4.88
