Default New steering stabilizer with lift?

Is it really necessary to replace the steering stabilizer when you lift? I'm about ready to put my OME 2 inch lift in with 33s. I took off my old stabilizer and checked it. Seems tight and functional to me. Should I just save my money?

Nope. You only need to replace it when it's worn out or broken. There's no reason to upgrade. A steering stabilizer is basically a band aid anyways. It's there in case you have a blow out. If your suspension is right, you don't need it for driving. If your suspension is not set up right, a bigger/better stabilizer just masks the real problem.

But, a relocation bracket is really smart to move it up higher since it is on a really vulnerable place.

Mines already up and out of the way on the backside of the tie rod from the factory.

Then you should be good to go. Wait until it's worn out.
