Default TeraFlex VS AEV 2.5

I can't decide between the two but I know I can get the Teraflex 2.5 coil and Shock lift installed for 1040.. but i am leaning towards the AEV.. Is one better than the other. I live in cary and wouldn't mind doing the AEV install with the help of some fellow jeepers. I just feel I couldn't contribute much in the way of tools or experience. Just a bunch of thank yous beer and homemade italian food. Advice?

What's your end game? Looks? Mainly on road with a little offroad? (Be honest!!!)

I went AEV as it is respectable offroad but spoken highly for its on road manners. 95%+ of my time is onroad. The remainder is on our property and the 10 days we spend in colorado. About two other offroad days at a local park.

FWIW, I had a 2.5 BB on previous to my current set up you see down below. So far, they have performed incredibly well. I am very much sold on Teraflex. I think they are a solid company. Not to say AEV isn't a good company as well, I just can't speak for them.

There won't be any difference in looks between the two kits.

AEV rides better on and off the trail, and it handles very well on the highway. You get Bilstein shocks and a new rear track bar.

TF has slightly better ground clearance around the lower control arm mounts (assuming you include the geometry correction brackets in the AEV lift). TF rides a little harder, and is probably stronger when the going gets rough on the trail.

Both kits are very good. Make your decision based on how you will use the Jeep.

Based on your answer, I'd recommend AEV.
