Rear Springs Bowed? easy fix for $25
If you have any significant lift on your jeep, you have to adjust that castor/pinion angle. The rear spring seats will then point to the rear causing your rear spring to bow to the rear. This becomes a problem if the spring is making contact with the rear track bar.
A bowed spring will also takes some of the height off of the rear. A straight spring will always sit taller. If your like me, you will always load up with plenty of Fuel and Water, which weigh a lot! No one likes a saggy rear end!
An excellent fix would be to cut off the old spring seats and weld a new seat on top of the axle housing. Great if you a welder!
Here is a easy fix that will cost $25.00 plus shipping. Synergy rear spring coil wedge. Easy to install! I've added a few pics, my springs are straight! eventually I'll have new seats welded but for now these are working great!
I am not affiliated with Synergy or Polyperformace, But I am a fan of their products.
