Default Trick to getting track bar reattached?

I'm in middle of installing my RK 2.5" flex lift. I'm putting the new track bar on and have it set to the recommended length of 32 9/16". But it seems too short, I can't get both bolts in. It looks like I either need to:

a. move front axle over 1/2"
b. make track bar longer by 1/2"
c. use some other method one of you guys will clue me in on?

With the jeep's wheels on the ground, only attach the track bar by the steering / pitman area and leave the track bar on the axle side unbolted. Then have someone inside the jeep turn the steering wheel to help you align the track bar on the axle side so that the bolt & nut easily slips in...

Jack up on side of axle with floor jack(99% of time it'll be pass side) you'll get it back in. Done it that way on 4 different jeeps always works

This got me close earlier today. I'll keep going If this fails I'll wait until I get the wheels back on and try the other method above.

I've also seen ppl use ratchet straps to pull it back over. Maybe try combo of both

x2 ^^^

Sometimes you have to turn the steering wheel back & forth a few times to get it lined up.

Rachet strap trick always worked for me as I generally work on my Jeep solo. Managed to do the front and rear track bars like that, for anyone else that may come across this thread.

Have your beer drinking buddy push the body of the jeep over to help line it up. That's the hands down easiest way to do it. No tools or nothing.
