I finally got around to installing some eye bolts in my ceiling joists so i could pull off my hardtop by myself. 20 minutes and $20 later life is so much easier. I have had the jeep for a year and this is only the second time the top has been off. It's probably gonna be hanging here for a while.

Thank goodness you didn't invest $320 in the Lange hard top hoist...

I did...

And added $50 in additional hardware and wood. Took a full day as the instructions were crap, had to improvise and strengthen the design, but it's up....

Good for you though making your own, I really wish I would have after today...
