Default Smittybuilt C.R.E.S. Top... Can't get to fit my jku

Got warm weather so I wanted to put on my new cres top but after following all instructions and letting it sit in 80° sunlight I still can't get it to stretch to fit around my top door surround... I can get one side but not the 2nd....i tried everything, every method of install process and just can't get it.... Anyone else have this problem with their jku? Maybe it's cause I have Bestop door surrounds?

It actually started tearing I was pulling so hard.....

I bought one but dont have door surrounds yet (only hardtop). Do they slide into some type of groove on the surround? Its hard to tell from the picture on the side that is attached (because pic is from top). I would try to send them back if they are to fit into some groove on both sides because I dont see that happening.

They slide into the factory door surrounds... Not my bestop Trektop surrounds.... But u can use it without door surrounds by strapping it to the roll cage.... Instructions are in the box on how

I'm happy with it.... I don't really care about the one side not stretching... It has straps on it for if u have no door surrounds so I just got it strapped on one side..... No biggie
