Default Best tie rod for rock crawling

Like a lot of others I'm sure, I bent my Tie Rod out rock crawling. I've heard some bad things about the Rock Krawler Tie Rod loosen up on the drivers side and over tightens the passenger side tie rod.
What other options are put there? I'm thinking about the Currie, but Holy Crap, $1000.00 Really?

The rk tr is rock solid. The only reason why it would loosen up is if the locking nuts were not tight which is user error. They should be checked now and then like any aftermarket part.

After bending mine in Moab i am making my own:

1 ton GM Offset Tie Rod Ends...one left hand thread and one right hand thread
cut length of solid 7075 T6 Aluminum Bar machined on ends for 7/8-18 thread, left hand thread/right hand thread

one bar of material will make 2 tie rods and with ends total cost is under $140.00. Best advantage other than the extreme flexible strength is that you simply loosen the jam nuts and turn rod to adjust.

Hey Token,

They don't have any kits for the JK on their site. Do you know if they make one?
