No 35s are bigger heavier tires and take more energy to move. no you'll need some combination of lift and trimming to run 35s.

If you're worried about gas, go with 33s.

Default Budget

I have a $1700 budget, believe me if I had it my way and a little bit wealthier I'd go with 35's any day, hell I'd go with damn 37's if I could, but unfortunately I have my limitations, with that said, I have a 2 door and I've decided that I want 17x9 XD Series Black Addicts, since I can run 33's without a lift I'm thinking thats my best interest. My question is well a 295/75R17 fit without a lift?? I know that size roughly = 34.5" Tire, could I, could WE get away running that size without any lift or trimming? My last question is, can I get a good set of addicts and 33, 34ish" tires on a 1700 budget or do I have to fork out more dinero????

On my 12 Sahara, I moved to stock rubi BFG's and mileage went down from the stock AT Duelers, then went to 35" TSR's and mileage improved slightly over the BFG's. If you are staying on-road, you can run the 35's with no lift or trimming.
