Default Rubicon and sway bar issue

Have a 2011 rubicon - Just installed a daystar kit 3" spacers with shocks. And after finishing the front end the sway bar is pointing downward and the link on the passenger side is touching another bar/link?? Can't steer with the sway bar at this angle any ideas? Need to reset the position of the sway bar I think but not sure how with the electric disco

Did you put on longer links in front or is it still stock ones?

Sounds kinda like the links flipped out during the install and le the bar drop down.. You're gonna have to take the axle end of the links loose, flip the sway bar back up and reconnect the links..

Long term fix is find some longer links..

Yea I think that's what happened. The kit didn't come with longer links unfortunately - so basically even with the electric disco I should be able to undo the axle end link an push the swar bar back up?

Longer links will have to be installed to match the amount of lift added.

need longer links - check your rear links as well. you may want to get longer links for the rear and move the rear links to the front (they should be longer than the fronts).
Check them before you buy so you don't end up spending more money later.

...that's the problem with inexpensive kits, they end up nickel and diming you to fix one issue after another because they don't tell you what other components you'll really need

Fixed,

Basically I disconnected the sway bar links at the axle again, jacked up the frame to clear some space for the sway bar. I tried moving the sway bar by hand on the passenger side - nothing. On the driver side though the sway bar had some play in it, moved it some more and heard/felt a clink and then both moved simultaneously. Adjusted the position by hand back to a more level profile so the axle link was back to a more 90 degree angle like it was prior to the install. Good to go. Thanks
