Default Need quick wiring advice

This is the passenger side taillight. On the right side of the pic is the wiring for the reverse lamp. Does anyone know if: i tap into these two wires to power a 10w cree led... will this work or will this give me problems??

This is what i am looking to power. Other option is running them to a free switch on A pillar.

Looking at the wiring diagram, I don't see a problem with it, as long as you don't exceed the 20 amp fuse.
Battery power goes through fuse M31; through the backup relay; out to the backup lamps.
The backup lamp power doesn't involve the computer. Only the relay trigger is computer controlled.
