Ok, this is driving me nuts. I have an 07 JKX and have done the grill, cup holder, blinker mods. I have added the A pillar switches, I have floor liners, but for the life of me, I can not figure out a good way to use the center console more effectively. I have just a few little things in there, but it is just one big hole right now and would love to know if you have done anything to make it more useful for storage.

I have thought about adding cup holders for bottles of water.

I have thought about adding some kind of netting or tupperware to gice is some pockets for organization.

What have you done?

I know exactly what you mean!! I've often wondered why the hinged lid is so thick. There has to be some wasted space in there. Has anyone taken that apart to see the insides? It almost seems that (with some modifying and ingenuity) you could split that in half, add a hinge and have a smaller, flatter compartment inside the lid for pens, notepad, etc.


Any thoughts??
