Anybody run teraflex speedbums on a 3" short arm
I have a 2 door 12' and right now I just have a 2" spacer kit but before I keep going I think I want to jump up to a full kit but dont really have the need to go long arm. Any body have speedbumps on a 3" short arm kit??? I have watched the prerunner videos of the guys running 50mph with the long arm, that would be bada$$ but dont need it. I wish i could see a teraflex video of 3" short arm with speedbumps running the same trail as the prerunner kit.
It can be done. I have a 3" Teraflex full flex arm kit with the speed bumps installed. Just make sure you order the strike plate for the rear speed bumps. Huge improvement on offroad quality and ride. I know longer bottom up with a jarring strike like before
thanks man, great looking rig too...
Did it cost flex ?
I`m unsure if I should get this combo or get 2.0 Fox bypass shocks.
I´m a bit afraid that the speed bumps cost (a lot) of flex.
On the other hand its the P´n´P sollution and you can get adjustable Fox shocks.
With teh bypass ones you onla have the bypasses adjustable or hav to start messing around with shims and so.

I have been wheeling a few times since I swapped in my speed bumps and I haven't noticed any loss of flex. IMO it keeps everything under control under slow articulation (keeps the wheels down), but if you want to open it up on the trail the ride remains really smooth.
I'm not home right now and its been more then a few months since I've seen my Jeep but if my memory serves me correctly I removed the upper bump stop and installed a flat strike pad essentially making it flush with the frame. They came with the kit that I ordered.
